Went to my first circuit class at the new gym today. Oh my god.
I won’t list out all the stations, but there was a lot of stuff in there: jogging with occasional drops to do situps, pressups etc; sprints; ball slams*; kettlebell swings*; sandbag clean & press*; skipping; burpees; dips and roundhouse kicks*.
* All these things new to me!
I did pretty badly – where everyone else was doing 30-odd reps of each, I was only managing 10-25 in the allotted time. But never mind, I made it to the end without throwing up (it was a close call though!)
One thing that did happen was that my bra strap snapped during the warm-up, so that was “fun”. Ugh.
