I survived yoga! It was one of those dynamic flow yoga classes, so was really fast-paced & hard, but I made it, and I really enjoyed it. I might go more regularly, except it’s at a slightly awkward time (7pm on Friday) so… well, I dunno. 

Before yoga, I had 40 mins to kill so I did a little shoulder workout:

High incline dumbbell press: 10kg, 10 reps x 3

Dumbbell lateral raise: 6kg, 10 reps x 3

Hammer curls (synchronous): 8kg, 10 reps x 3

Tricep pushdowns: 10kg, 20 reps x 2; 15kg x 7, 10kg x 7, 5kg x 10

I’m spending the next week doing DIY at my new house every day, so workout out too is really taking a toll on my poor bod! I’m achy all the time 😦

Box squat with cambered bar:

  • 25kg, 5 reps x 2;
  • 25kg + 10kg chains, 2 reps x 2
  • 35kg + 10kg chains, 2 reps
  • 45kg + 10kg chains, 2 reps x 8 (tight & fast)

Glute & ham raises: 10 reps x 6

Reverse hyperextensions: 10 reps x 6

Dumbbell bench press: 12.5kg, 3 reps x 5

Narrow bench press: 20kg, 10 reps; 30kg, 10 reps x 3

Upright row: 20kg, 7 reps x 3

Single-arm dumbbell row: 17.5kg, 3 reps x 3

Tricep pushdowns: 10kg, 30 reps

Decline crunch: 10 reps x 3
