Went to my secondary gym today to do snatch drills, only to find their technique bar is broken so I had to use a men’s bar with no plates (they don’t have a ladies’ bar). I’m not up to the minimum I could have on a men’s bar with plates – 30kg – so I had to use it empty, which made doing full snatches impossible. Meh!

Anyway, I did some hang snatches & snatch balances; then I decided to test my front squat & got 45kg for 2 reps, which isn’t too shabby.
