Oh hey! I seem to have acquired a bunch of new followers after this morning’s little rant. Welcome to my Tumblr 😀

OK! On to today’s log…

Today was the last time I squatted heavy before the 13th. 

Squats: 20kg, 5 reps x 2; 40kg, 5 reps; 50kg, 5 reps; 60kg, 2 reps; 72.5kg, 2 reps; 80kg, 2 reps; 85kg, 1 rep; 80kg, 1 rep

I was crapping myself before these, but overall I’m quite pleased. I’m more confident that I’ll get 85kg on the day now, maybe even more.

I was squatting in front of a mirror and, no lie, my face looked like this on the 85kg:

Dimel deadlifts: 40kg, 20 reps x 2

Glute & ham raises; pullthroughs (superset): 10 reps x 3, each

Bench press: 20kg, 10 reps; 30kg, 5 reps; 42.5kg, 3 reps x 3, with a pause on the last rep of each set

Tate press: 5kg, 12 reps; 6kg, 12 reps

Machine rows (weight each hand): 15kg, 12 reps x 2

Hammer curl: 6kg, 12 reps x 2

Cable crunch: 25kg, 10 reps x 2; 30kg, 10 reps
