My coach texted me today (Sunday) to ask if I think I could squat 3 sets of 5 reps at 65/70kg. I told him 65 for definite, 70 would be a push, and he needs to take a day off!

It’s really flattering that he spends so much time thinking about my (crap!) squat, but also a bit embarrassing. I’m the feeblest lifter in the gym; sometimes I think he’d be better off focussing on one of the guys who’s actually going to place at the British!
